 LINK Against Hunger

501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization LINK, Inc. P.O. Box 443 Sterling, VA 20167-0443 Phone: (703) 437-1776 Contact Us : An Important message from the volunteers at LINK The LINK Board of Directors, and the LINK volunteers struggle constantly to find ways to improve communications with our clients, supporters, and the community. Therefore, please visit our official LINK website at www.linkagainsthunger.org , it is just one method that we use to communicate and accomplish our Mission to supply emergency food to people in need. The LINK website includes a "Frequently Asked Questions" page that may answer many of your questions and prevent the need for you to contact us for non emergency issues. However, we realize that in this high-tech age, not everyone has access to the same communications tools. Regardless of the method you use to contact us or a member church, our commitment is the same. We will do our best to respond quickly to your need with understanding and compassion. However, we do ask for your patience and understanding that, since LINK is an all-volunteer organization, we do not have full-time staff to provide immediate responses to your communications. And, we ask that, if possible, you do not use the telephone number listed above for non-emergency, general inquiries.

Please note: (703) 437-1776 is the primary method that clients needing emergency food use to communicate their need to LINK. It is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. However, it is always answered by an answering device and you need to leave a message. The volunteers at LINK strive to return all calls within 24 hours.

Thank you, and May God Bless You . LINK Mission

LINK needs the continuous financial and volunteer support of our local residents, churches, and businesses. Many in Loudoun and Fairfax Counties enjoy great prosperity and privileged circumstances but, many others do not. As our community continues to become more aware of neighbors in need, it becomes more apparent that we all must help one another. What better way to reach out than by serving others? LINK is run entirely by volunteers. Please if you are interested in helping!

What Can You Do? Typical volunteer needs include food sorting, packing, food delivery, screening food applicants, and coordination of these activities.

There are spots for occasional or routine volunteers, individual or groups. LINK uses electronic volunteer calendars for many positions to make it easy for you to pick times that are convenient for you.
